One of the most dreaded tasks of any RVer is emptying their black tank. This is where all of your waste goes, particularly that from your toilet. Yeah, ew. It’s no wonder emptying it is such a pain. And on top of emptying it, you need to find a place that actually offers a sanitary dumping area.
Enter, Nielson RV. We are proud to offer RVers a free RV dump station. This station is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. So wherever the road might take you, you can rest confident that you will have a place to empty your tank.
Here is what you can find at our dump station:
- Water to flush black & grey tanks | Clean water to rinse your tanks so that they are ready to go for the next round.
- Water to fill fresh water | Hit the road with a tank full of fresh water.
- Sewer hose | Easy to hook up.
- Free air for tires | Get on the road knowing that your tires are inflated at the proper level for ultimate safety.
- Propane (There is a Fee)
When using the dump station, there is some etiquette that all RVers are expected to abide by. This helps to ensure the area is kept clean and functional for whomever wants to use it.
First and foremost, please do not dump anything in the dump station except for your holding tank contents. We also ask that you avoid dumping directly in the disposal station’s apron.
Make sure you have plenty of towels with you in case you make a mess or spill. That way you can easily clean it up. This also means that you shouldn’t leave garbage in the area or put used rubber gloves down the sewer.
