Nielson RV has plans to expand 6 additional stores in Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana along the I-15, I-80, and I-90 corridors. Scott Nielson feels the RV Industry is missing the connection between the customer and service.

“Most RV entities are sales lots, nothing more. Furthermore, most are operating out of makeshift housing, modulars, outcrop buildings, old gas stations, or auto dealerships. Few RV dealership owners invest in their buildings and service centers to better provide for the RV’er” – Scott Nielson

Nielson wants to capitalize on the service areas and believes sales will naturally follow service. As owner of Nielson Development, he has the advantage of building large facilities very quickly and drastically under budget, which he believes gives him a unique advantage over his competitors.

Nielson RV started in Hurricane, Utah in the Fall of 1997 with Scott buying and selling used cars and occasionally RVs. In 2002 after incorporating into “Hurricane Valley Auto Mall”, Scott and his brother Mike moved into the “Old Produce Stand” in Hurricane Utah. In 2004, HVAM moved to the current location at 1210 West State Street in Hurricane and expanded to over 2 acres. After switching to RVs exclusively in 2005, Nielson RV continued its explosive growth, even expanding to a second location in St. George, Utah and is now one of the largest RV dealerships in the state. Adding over 50 jobs to the community and nearing $30,000,000 in total revenue.
